Two different sceneries;
The majestic Colorado Rockies revealing reality
And the deep blues of the California seas reflecting the sunlight.
One frame shows something tall, eerie, and familliar.
The other is deep, peaceful, and unexpected.
In the end which one will plant me deep within it's boundaries?
Which one will devour my soul, leaving me with nothing?
Which one will secure my heart in it's embrace in hopes that another beauty will never take it away?
A familiar scent, an expected shower, and a soft roar.
A foreign touch, the unexpected pleasure in sun, and a vacant shore.
Oh, I think I shall just venture along to the middle lines,
To burry my broken body there.
You see, the Pacific is married to its beaches
And the rockies, it seems they're never changing.
The images have placed themselves in golden frames
And hung themselves along the wall I'm always aware of.
A sudden glimpse of happiness; shattered more quickly than it was painted.
Love, these things will never happen.
So many unexpected dreams lie beneath your surface, but you've given them away love.
Love, you will certainly never give them to me.
