I sleep all day, guzzle all night, and pray I don't have any dreams. And when I have those dreams, you pass through them, and I hate to see your face. Your lovely, lovely face.
With the windows locked so tight, and snow outside, I'm left to face my thoughts. How insane it is to miss someone who rests his bones so far away. You must think I'm ridiculous, because you've fooled me love, you have.
And if someone's kiss touches my lips, I hope someday it's yours. Because something so vast, so wide, so deep, won't keep me away.
I want to go everywhere- everyone knows I want to go everywhere. Unfortunately, these people are forbidding me to go everywhere. I'm trapped in a town that has too much of my past, in the palm of it's unwinding streets. And I want to leave, everyone does. I'm scared to leave, everyone is.
But someday, baby, someday. Nothing will keep me away.
Even just one night, a taste. Book a flight? Nothing will keep me away.
